Montgomery’s Mexican restaurants run from the Alley downtown, where Jalapeños in the Alley is on Commerce Street, to Old Cloverdale, home of El Rey Burrito Lounge, and out along Vaughn Road, Zelda Road and Eastchase, where the fast-casual chains have stores.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Montgomery’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 17, 2026. We added El Rey Burrito Lounge, the two Jalapeños restaurants and Moe’s Southwest Grill from their own sites. We left out restaurants whose own site would not show us a Montgomery address, including Taco Mama, whose location page did not load one, and places we could not find a website for. The places

Chipotle Mexican Grill is the fast-casual burrito chain. Its Montgomery page lists two stores, one on Berryhill Road near Eastchase and one on Eastern Boulevard, both with online ordering.

El Rey Burrito Lounge is a burrito restaurant on East Fairview Avenue in Old Cloverdale, open evenings only. It posts its food menu as a PDF on its site, takes online orders through Toast and points visitors to its sister bar, Leroy.

Jalapeños in the Alley is a Mexican restaurant on Commerce Street, in the Alley entertainment district downtown. Its site has a full menu and online ordering for pickup.

Jalapeños Mexican Restaurant on Vaughn Road is run by the same group, whose site also lists sister restaurants in Millbrook and Prattville. The site gives the address and phone number but not separate hours for the Vaughn Road restaurant.

Moe’s Southwest Grill is a Tex-Mex grill chain. Its Montgomery page lists two restaurants, on Zelda Road and on East Chase Parkway, with delivery and catering.

Taco Bell lists seven Montgomery stores, on West South Boulevard, Eastchase Parkway, Atlanta Highway, Carmichael Road, Zelda Road and Vaughn Road. Its page shows most opening at 9 a.m., with closing times posted store by store.
