4 Montgomery restaurants whose own sites list a patio, deck or rooftop: Capitol Oyster Bar on the river, Waterworks downtown, Cloverdale and Zelda Road.
Last checked 2026-10-17. Refreshed every three months.
Montgomery’s outdoor tables follow the Alabama River and downtown: Capitol Oyster Bar has a deck on the river and Waterworks has a rooftop on Coosa Street. Away from downtown, Moe’s Original BBQ has a patio in Old Cloverdale, and First Watch has patios on Zelda Road and at Eastchase.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Montgomery’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 17, 2026. A place is on this list only if its own website says it has a patio, deck, rooftop or outdoor seating; a tag on a map is not enough. We added Capitol Oyster Bar, First Watch and Waterworks from their own sites. Eddy’s at Montgomery Whitewater has a patio, but the park’s site says it is closed for the season. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
