We left out cafes and cake shops whose own website we could not find or reach, and the Panera Bread at Eastchase, whose location page did not load its address for us. The list is alphabetical. The places

D’Road Cafe is a Venezuelan and Latin cafe on Montgomery Street downtown. Its site says it sets out Latin pastries, artisan breads, cafe con leche and coffee on Saturdays, alongside its breakfast and lunch menus, which change daily. It is closed Sunday and Monday.

Krispy Kreme is the doughnut chain, with one Montgomery shop on Atlanta Highway. It opens at 6 a.m. every day of the week. Its page lists separate shop and drive-thru hours; the drive-thru closes 15 minutes before the shop.

Lorraine’s Bake Shop is a small-batch bake shop on historic Dexter Avenue. Its site says everything is made from scratch in house, with slow-fermented sourdough every Tuesday, cinnamon rolls on Wednesdays and quiche on Saturday mornings. It takes orders for cakes, cupcakes and cookies, and also serves coffee and ice cream. Its site links an in-store menu that shows what is baking that day.

Nothing Bundt Cakes is the bundt cake bakery chain, at Eastchase. Its page lists full-size, personal and mini bundt cakes, including gluten-free cakes, with separate delivery hours.
